Here we have the brand new mix of Ash Phrixus which replaces the existing one on "Barkston Ash." The old mix will remain available as a bonus track on the album.

The old mix was completed some time ago, and so, Spring 2022 has been spent adding some gloss, sorting out a few things and embellishing with some more vocal textures.

The result, it must be said, is far superior, and the track will be able to sit alongside its companions much more proudly. Reworking it was also an opportunity to try out some Arp Quadra and some Polymoog sounds which helps place this in a sonic soundscape which might not have been too out of place in 1978!
